Hello,

The Jacob sheep is a breed of multihorned sheep. Jacob Sheep are not a rare breed but we breed them with our other animal breeds because we simply fell in love with them! They have patterns of black and white spots, and in my opinion are very pretty and good looking sheep. Our Jacob Sheep are very well behaved and have an excellent temperament. They eat out of our hands most days when we go to feed them and come very close allowing you to stroke them.

Jacob sheep are used for numerous purposes. They are grown for their wool, for meat, for their hides  and also as pets. The jacob sheep can have either 2 or 4 horns, the Jacobs I own have 2 horns each. The jacobs are shorn once a year and a fleece produces around 5 pounds of medium-fine quality wool.
